'For your baby': Friendly Bacteria Drops

Here at Optibac, we care about the people taking and recommending our supplements. Without you, we wouldn’t be where we are today. That’s why ‘For your baby’ is our first ever liquid drops supplement. It can be given directly to babies via an easy-to-use dropper – no fuss, no mess! Alternatively, it can be given on a spoon, or you can add it to breastmilk and other food and drinks. We’ve formulated this supplement with you in mind, so you can find the way that works best for your family.

We know that this is coming to you during a very surreal time. We know this isn’t a big fix for you right now, in the grand scheme of things, but it might help in some small way to navigate some of the more minor problems parents are facing as family life goes on.

Which supplement is best for my child?

You might already have seen our other children’s supplement, ‘For babies & children’ and indeed there is some overlap here - in that either of these products could be applicable. So, how do you know which is the best for your little one?  We've put together some bullet points to help guide you. 

• 'For your baby' is especially for little ones from birth to 3 years old, though it can be given to older children too. 
• 'For babies & children' is for those from birth all the way up to 12 years old 
• There shouldn't be any need to give your child both 'For your baby' and 'For babies & children'.
• 'For your baby's liquid drop format should be especially easy for administering to babies, whereas 'For babies & children' is a sachet that can be mixed with cold food or drink. 
• 'For your baby' has more research in babies and toddlers, whereas 'For babies & children' has more research in school-aged children. 
• The two products do contain different strains, so it might well be a case of trial and error! Try out one for at least a month and then swap to the other - and hopefully you might get a feel for which one is best for your child.
